A software engineer by trade, I worked in this profession for many years with great satisfaction. With increasing experience though, I realized the extent by which project success depended on relationships between people rather than on subject matter expertise. And that relatively small changes in communication style can improve those relationships significantly. So I trained as a communication coach and mediator and found these skills to be very valuable in my own projects as well ask when helping others. I learned how to really listen to people, to understand what is important to them and that it's sometimes exactly that which enables them to take a step forward.

My calling now is to bring more of this skill to the world, and in particular to the business world that I am so familiar with. Through the combination of my original technical training and my expertise in interpersonal communication, I hope to bring a unique perspective to the table. I know about the challenging demands in a no-nonsense business setting and I understand how to apply the soft skill of effective communication to it.
